Moneygall FC was formed in 1978 to give the community and surrounding area an option to compete and enjoy the sport of Soccer. The club is affiliated to the North Tipperary District League and to the North Tipperary Schoolchildren’s League.
Moneygall FC for many decades depended on the good will of local land owners and many volunteers to host the club and in 2017 finally opened our permeant residence in the heart of the community. The new club grounds where a full-sized pitch has been developed has seen continual improvements over the last number of years, and we want to build on this progress.
Over the years the club has had some great success on and off the pitch and with our ever-expanding membership we hope this will continue. The roll of honours and achievements are a reflection of our dedicated and tireless volunteers and administrators in the back ground.
To further the development for our club and community we want to enhance our grounds with floodlighting and a training pitch. We also continue to commit that our facilities will be available for use to our community, as has been seen with our donation of land towards the development of the community garden and also the solar lit community walking track. We believe our club and grounds were built because of the generosity of our community and they too should benefit.
